Get Outside & Play at the Capitol

More than 1,300 youth joined the Michigan Recreation and Park Association, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and the Michigan No Child Left Inside Coalition as we celebrated June as No Child Left Inside Month and July as Parks and Recreation Month on the Capitol Lawn in Lansing and showcased what parks and recreation is all about.

Read about the Get Outside & Play event in the Grand Rapids Press and the State News.
